School Tours:

Heatherwood School provides opportunities for prospective families to visit and tour our school. If you are considering enrolling your son or daughter you are invited to arrange a guided tour, ask questions about the school, enrolment process and discuss matters relating to individual student needs.

To arrange a tour please contact Heatherwood school general office on 9842 8319 and ask to speak with our Transition Coordinator.

Enrolment Criteria:

All students wishing to enrol at Heatherwood School must meet the eligibility criteria for Intellectual Disability.

Students will have undergone a review process through their Primary School (year 6/7 review).

Heatherwood students are defined as having a ‘Mild Intellectual Disibility’

• Students have a full scale IQ (WISC IV) between 50 – 70.
• Students have a Vineland Adaptive Composite score between 50 – 70.

Regional approval is required for students to enrol at Heatherwood.
