At Heatherwood we foster a learning environment, which provides opportunities for our students to develop their 21st century learning skills.

Students learn to use ICT as a tool to:

  • Access digital information and programs
  • Communicate
  • Share and work collaboratively
  • Investigate issues
  • Solve problems
  • Develop thinking and learning skills

The curriculum for Information Communication Technology is continually reviewed and updated to reflect changes and advances in technology. The ICT curriculum is designed to challenge our students and promote our ethos, "Learning for Life".

Using both MacOS and Windows enhances computer knowledge. Students also use iPads, laptops and cameras.
