As well as participating in Educational and Sporting Programs our students are encouraged to take on a variety of Leadership roles and responsibilities. A Leadership Skills Programme is available to senior students. 

Heatherwood students have the opportunity to become School Captain, House Captain or an S.R.C Representative.

Our S.R.C. Representatives attend meetings to discuss student views and opinions. Information is taken back by S.R.C. members to classrooms. Some representatives also meet with the Principal. They communicate this information to our school community through a variety of avenues.
