Heatherwoods Transition Coordinator works closely with parents and primary schools to make the transition to secondary school a positive experience for students and parents. The Transition Coordinator visits Primary Schools to consult with your childs teacher. Discussions will include strengths, weaknesses and interests then summarize this information before your child comes on their first day.

The Transition Coordinator will pass on relevant information and examples of work which can then be used to assist your childs learning.

If you feel we need to know more detailed or personal information please speak directly to the Transition Coordinator or the Principal, this information will assist in putting together class groups ready for Orientation Day.
